For this article review, I have chosen to write my article on “Matching up the Supplies base on the Demand: Base on the shortage of the U.S. Primary Care Workforce.” Based on the article, there is a problem of shortage that the primary care physician are facing in the U.S and it will continue to keep increasing because of the growth of the ones who are being enrolled under the PPACA base on the insurance plan. Base on the new healthcare reform there is an increase in demand for PCPs and the supply is not even close where it should be, meaning PCP are in demands but there is a shortage in supply. The PCP that are living in the rural areas or the patients that are low-income, along with the uninsured one they are the ones with the biggest problems trying to get the primary care physicians and their services. But when you compare them with the patients that have a private insurance plans and are living in the suburbs, these patients will have easier access to PCP and their services……….
